Delivery times
Don't forget that all Crafted Tales are made to order. This does mean that your delivery may take a little longer to arrive than other gifts you might buy your loved ones, but we're sure it'll be worth the wait!
All delivery dates provided are estimates, and may vary - But we'll do everything we can to ensure your order arrives on time!
Order cancellations
When you order a Crafted Tale, we request an image to use as inspiration for your main character. We may also request approval before your book goes to print.
At our discretion, we may ship orders without approval if we have not recieved approval within 10 working days of your order.
We reserve the right, to cancel any order which cannot be fulfilled due to a lack of character image, or pre-print approval. A refund will be provided for any cancelled orders.
Due to the resource required for this process, reserve the right to charge a small administrative fee for any cancellations due to lack of response from the customer.
Character quirks
We use cutting edge tools to provide market leading, high-quality character illustrations, inspired by the pictures you provide.
These tools are not perfect, and occasionally Crafted Tales characters will have small flaws in them. These flaws are usually only in 1 or 2 scenes, and are minor things like a fringe sweeping the opposite direction to normal, or a slightly bigger pupil on one eye.
All Crafted Tales are reviewed by our team before they go to print. Our policy is that as long as the flaw doesn't detract from the experience of reading the tale, it is acceptable.
Please note - The quality of the image is the largest determining factor in the outcome of your character, so please ensure you have read the character image guidelines before approving your order.
Returns
All items are made-to-order by our printing partners, and whilst we strive to provide the highest possible quality it is possible for small variations in alignment and colour -
We want you to have the best experience possible, and will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis, so if there are any issues please get in touch before taking action.
Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 14 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 14 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
If you notice an issue with your crafted tale, please submit a contact form with your order number and a description of the issue.
Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you.
Unclaimed - Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to our printing partners and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to yourself.
Notification for EU consumers: According to Article 16(c) and (e) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for:
The supply of goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised.
Therefore Crafted Tales reserves rights to refuse returns at its sole discretion.
This Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the English language, regardless of any translations made for any purpose whatsoever.
